I began teaching in 2003 after close to 10 years as a newspaper journalist.
My teaching career kicked off at Oakville Trafalgar High School. I later
moved on to Nelson High School in 2010. Outside of the classroom, I coach
the Nelson Snowboard team and also enjoy working with the mountain biking
team.
In my spare time, I enjoy snowboarding, downhill mountain biking, photography, surfing, creating art and visiting new places.
British Columbia is a favourite place for me, and I travel there whenever
I can to enjoy the outdoors.
