** Blended Learning - Blended Learning is a combination of face to face instruction with online content, discussions, assignments, and activities.

This involves the use of a Ministry of Education online learning management system that can be accessed anytime, from anywhere.  It will allow students, among other things, to:
access course content online (students will need to have a computer and internet access)
submit assignments;
engage in enriching online discussions with other students;
share and collaborate on projects online;
stay organized and keep up with their school work

Learner Profile:

Night school is open to students either currently enrolled in a day time high school or who have left high school and need to complete credits for diploma purposes or for further skill development.

Description of Program:

There are two sessions of night school, in the fall running from late September to mid-January and the spring, which begins in mid-February and concludes in early June.  Classes are three hours in length, 6:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m., every Monday and Wednesdays nights totaling thirty nights. Courses offered include those in English, Math, Science, and Social Science primarily at grades eleven and twelve, at the college and university level. Only one course can be taken per night school session.
