Last year I decided I want to try to be
a crane operator apprentice. I found out I had to have a High School Diploma
to qualify. I knew I didn’t have one, so I forgot all about it. The first of
this year I saw the Gary Allan ad in the local newspaper, so I thought why
not, what have I got to lose. Well it’s now six months later, and I’m half
way to my diploma. My experience at Gary Allan High School has been great.
Most of all, it has been a convenient way for me to work on my high school
courses. I hope to finish by Christmas and start a new career next year. |

I wish I knew about Gary Allan
High School a few years ago because I certainly would have been here much
sooner. I can’t believe that after 25 years out of high school I have a
chance to set tings right. The fact that I was a high school drop-out has
bothered me greatly. Now with the incredible help and encouragement form all
the staff and teachers at Gary Allan, I can finally put years of frustration
to rest. I must admit at first I was terrified to go back to school at my
age. But the fact that I never finished high school was all the motivation
needed. Once I saw how much the teachers were there to help make it so much
easier to accomplish this goal. This will be like climbing Mount Everest for
me. I cannot recommend Gary Allan High School strongly enough. I will not
forget all they have done for me.
Thank you. |

I
have had the pleasure of attending the Adult Ed classes offered by the
Halton District School Board for the past year and a half and can say that
I truly enjoyed every class. The courses offered have been extremely
informative and I have been able to utilize much of what I have learned in
my daily office duties.
This Adult Ed program gave me the opportunity to broaden my computer
knowledge and skills and in particular the Office 2000 Suite which was my
primary reason for enrolling the course.
I would recommend this course to anyone who is considering re-entering the
workforce or to anyone who is just simply interested in learning computer
programs of their own personal gain.

"A Breath of Fresh Air;
for me a very welcome answer
after many years of wishing I could do this. My first face to face
encounter with Gary Allan H.S. occurred when I had decided to check on
my son's progress in the STEP program. This was the only bad visit I’ve
experienced. We got him back on track and on the road to graduation. I
was very happy. This got me thinking of my own situation of not having
graduated for what ever reason. I’m here now and doing quite well. I
can’t thank the staff and school enough. I’m filling an enormous void in
my life.
Thanks for all of it." |

respect I have for all involved at Gary Allan AdultEd." |
