May Events @ New Central
Open House at New Central P.S. on May 26, 2010
With Incoming Principal Mr. M. Mathews
For parents who will have their child attending New Central P.S. for September 2010 based on the reconfigurations that have taken place in Ward 3, we would like to extend an invitation to each of you to attend our Open House/Kindergarten Information Night on Wednesday May 26th 2010 starting at 5:45p.m. Come and find out more about the exciting program your child will be experiencing here at New Central for September 2010!
The Open House will be divided into two presentations. The first presentation will be focussed on the Kindergarten program for next year. You will have the chance to hear from our Kindergarten Teachers and the Principal on what will be offered in the classroom and important information around getting ready for Kindergarten. For this presentation we are asking for Parents only.
Our second presentation will be focussed on providing some key highlights around our theme at New Central- Creative and Critical Thinking for the 21st Century, as well as give our parents the chance to meet the staff we have brought together to bring these exciting learning opportunities for ALL our students entering our school in September 2010.
If you have children that will be in our Kindergarten program as well as entering Grade 1- 6, we invite you to stay for both presentations, as this will allow you the opportunity to hear information that we know will be helpful as we look ahead to September 2010.
We look forward to meeting all of you on Wednesday May 26th and encourage you to attend the presentation that best matches your child’s grade they will be entering in September.
Sincerely,
Mr. M. Mathews
Principal (September 2010)
